Encotec Primer Sealer and Encotec Etcher Cleaner

Before the “SATAC” System is applied the metal building surface, it must be sealed with Encotec Primer Sealer or cleaned with Encotec Etcher Cleaner.  This assures the “SATAC” and Encotec Adhesive bonds properly to the surface.

Encotec Primer Sealer

Encotec Primer Sealer is an effective liquid sealer that is sprayed on building surfaces prior to the application of the “SATAC” System.  The primer allows the materials to form a bond to the structure.  Application procedure consists of lightly misting or spackling the product onto the surface.  Once dry, the insulation can be spray applied to the surface.  Metal Buildings manufactured after January 2001, must first be primed with Encotec Primer Sealer. 

Encotec Etcher Cleaner

Encotec Etcher Cleaner is specially formulated to clean and etch the surface prior to applying the “SATAC” System.  It acts as an emulsifier which encapsulates surface contaminates such as dust, oil, and grease.  Application procedures consist of completely spraying the product to the surface and when completely dried, rinse the surface with water.  .  The insulation can be spray applied once the surface is free of moisture.  Metal buildings manufactured prior to 2001 must be cleaned with Encotec Etcher Cleaner.
